In 2003, two friends came together to open a restaurant in downtown Helsinki. The idea was straight forward, offering memorable experiences and delicious food in a relaxed environment. This philosophy has remained true through the years, maintaining our reliability.
In the year 2007 the restaurants reputation surpassed itself and Demo was granted a Michelin Star which we have retained to this day.
In October 2024 Demo was reopened to a new location. Come explore our premises! We are excited to show you all that we can do and make your experience unforgettable.
We offer a Chef’s menu for the price of 175 €. This allows our kitchen to push themselves both creatively and technically.
Our kitchen is ever evolving, testing the limits while offering quality cuisine. Our menu is composed of seasonal ingredients and the best available produce.

Lunch is served from Tuesday to Friday, 11:30-15:00.
For our four-course lunch menu priced at 69 €, it is recommended to reserve at least one hour.
For our six-course lunch menu priced at 99 €, it is recommended to reserve approximately 2 hours.
Our exceptional wine cellar consists of over 400 different wines from the Old Continent, selected with great care. This gives a good reason to visit our bar just for a glass of wine and enjoy the best view any Michelin restaurant offers in Helsinki.
If you order a bottle of wine from our wine list in advance, our sommeliers will make sure that it’s ready to serve when you arrive.
We also offer a daily wine pairing, which are paired with the menu of the day, for the price of 155 €.
Lunch is served from Tuesday to Friday between 11:30 and 15:00.
While walk-ins are always welcome, we recommend making a reservation to ensure availability.
Dinner is served Tuesday to Friday, 18:00–23:00 and on Saturdays from 17:00–23:00.
To help us reduce food waste and ensure the best possible experience for all our guests, we kindly ask for a 100 € deposit per guest when booking a dinner table. This allows us to plan ahead and serve you better.
This amount will be fully deducted from your final bill at the restaurant.
If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance so our kitchen can be well prepared.
